Comment:
I like this guitar. it is very playable and the neck has slightly rounded edges giving it a very smooth feel. The Noiseless Active pickups are as advertised. There is virtually no noise. I am not sure I like the active level boost though. Two things about it that I don't care for.
Warning... Here comes a Rob Rant!
First, the boost system requires that you install a nine volt battery into the guitar. This is not a big issue but you do have to remember to change it out once in a while. On the Strat you have to unscrew the back cover to get to the battery compartment
The other thing, and this is minor too, is that the pickup levels are a bit high esspecially when I use this guitar with the Twin. If I set the volume of the amp past 2-2.5 my ears start to hurt. At these low volume settings the tubes are not anywhere near saturation or the "sweet" spot.
Overall this guitar is great. My pet peaves about the active pickups are negligible.
